For once, I finally know how being starstruck feels like. Haha. Ramon Bautista is my homeboy. Winner talaga lahat ng videos nya sa TV, YouTube and Multiply kaya ko sya IDOL. Haha
Yesterday, the 2elev8 boys covered their first wedding for 2008. It was held at Intramuros, Manila, specifically at Baluarte de San Diego Gardens. It was a very awesome afternoon for all of us.
The invitation and the rings
A closer look.
The bling blings
Can you guess what this is?
Last call to check if everything is fine. Based on Imee's smile, it must be running according to plan.
Who says you can't see your bride before the wedding? Heck you can even take a photo of her.
You see, this is their third wedding, so we can't blame Noel to have his own slice of the photo op now do we?
Here they are goofing around, telling us that they once caught a fish that big. LOL.
The groom
The bride
Together now. Look how happy they are. Its like they just met each other.
uhmm... guys, you gotta wait after the ceremony.
Look at the big smile on Noel's face. You can see it even through the blur.
Now we are rollin'
The reception area.
Awww.. there she is.
There was no time time I saw them not smiling or giggling all throughout the ceremony. Such a happy couple.
The order and safety of the event was brought to us by the Katipuneros of Baluarte de San Diego.....
and the 2elev8 sniper team. hehe.
Closer look at the bouquet.
The altar.
Noel and Imee, thanks for having us on your very special day. Congratulation guys!
My friend Marlon introduced me to this online service with an unusual name, twitter.com. After signing up, i thought this would be a faster way to get in touch with your friends whose always online (or even those who couldn't live without their celfones close to them.).
Its simple, all you need to do after signing up is to answer the question "What are you doing?" Whatever your answer is will be posted and seen by the public and your friends. It's like a mini-blog. Your friend can now send a message or reply to your post. You can answer this question every minute or whenever you feel like.
In case you'll sign up, please add/follow me, I'd like to get in touch with you guys:
After a couple of hours, I was able to finally renovate my Multiply page to match the look and feel of one I have in MySpace. This could've been easier if only I finished my self-paced CSS training. The theme I used is actually 90% Newspaper theme. I just changed the background image and the header.
Happy New Year Everybody! I hope 2007 was a hell of a ride for you guys, it sure is mine. Thanks to all my old and new friends for a good year. Now, let's see what 2008 is in store for us...
Kudos to my TV junkie girlfriend for letting me know about this show (hindi na kasi ako nakakanood ng TV dahil sa trabaho, except for Wowowee by default.. hehe). This is supposedly the first reality TV show about fashion photographers. The closest thing na napanood ko before this is yung mga shoot part ng ANTM. Buti na lang episode 1 is available for our viewing pleasure on their site, hindi ata avail VH1 sa local cable TV service natin.
Eto yung 10 hand-picked photographers
I just finished watching the whole episode and na-amazed ako sa comments nung mga judges nila. Grabe, I thought oks na yung mga pictures nila pero nasabon pa ren sila. hehe.
Doogie and I went ahead to Makati to help Marlon finish his collateral for Intellectual Property Office. Good thing the WeeWillDoodle event was moved today as we were able to watch them give the IPO wall a facelift.
Lately, I found myself searching the net for some kick-ass Korean wire-fu movies (wala pa kasi bago si axxo) and eventually found a couple, Shadowless Sword and The Restless. After reading tons of Korean film forums, Old Boy was always mentioned. They said its good so I watched it. Man, they were right... errr.. no, they're wrong... it's awesome!
It's actually the second one in Park Chan-wook's "vengeance trilogy". The first one is Symphathy for Mr. Vengeance but it doesn't come close to Old Boy and the last one is Symphathy for Lady Vengeance which I have yet to see because I still can't find it's freaking subtitle file. Anyways, the best parts for me was the corridor fight (weapon of choice = hammer) and the one where he ate a live octopus. Haha. If you want to know what can be worse than death then you gotta see this.
This is the first time we tried food photography. Usually kasi, nauubos na namin agad before namin maisip na picturan. Masarap yung kinain namin, no doubt about it, pero ang tanong is masarap ba tingnan? What do you think?
Starscream has delusions of grandeur. He chose to resemble an F-22 jet because it’s the pinnacle of human technical achievement. He serves Megatron but longs to fill his shoes.
Like Starscream, you are not compassionate and harbor evil thoughts. You want to be a leader and show some promise, but you have much to learn. In addition, you enjoy being one step ahead of your friends as far as trends and technology.
Thanks to Leoby and Jaime, better known as Direk J, I had the chance to shoot some of the girls that were in the Brownman Revival's music vid, Reggae Fever. Jen, Kiks, Summer and Tere were fun models to work with. It was a blast. If only I could stay till the end of the shoot. Below are the behind the scenes photos:
From L-R: Leoby, Helen, Jen, Jaime, Hershey, Hazel, Summer and Kiks
Hazel prepping Summer for the Pin-up girl look
Hershey blow-drying Kiks' braids, they'll un-braid that after to add some hair texture
Jen seriously fixing her own hair... or Is she posing for the camera... hmm..
One of the location we found at the back of the studio. Dito ata si Kiks nakagat ng insekto... pero it's worth it naman di ba? hehe
Last but not the least, the only model that posed nude for us, outdoors... hehe
Ha! Just found out that my name was added to the credits page of the recently released Adobe e-learning software, Captivate 3. How cool is that? This is not the first time though but it's been a while since we were credited in an industry standard program.
This is the 4th of 5 suspension days I'll be serving. I did not bother to blog about first three because they were suspension days served wisely. Yeah, like the third one, it was used during my Marc Ecko shoot at the FHM 100 sexiest. This is the first time I'm suspended and left with really nothing to do but to savor all the minutes that will pass by. If you are wondering why I got suspended, It's by committing multiple instances of excessive tardiness. Ano magagawa ko?... sarap matulog eh. Tao lang ako.
Earlier, I was able to get a cool shirt at Robinson's Galleria.
disco sucks, narcissism rules!
Actually I got 3 other shirts but I'll just show you guys this one. It may not be obvious in the photo, but the print is actually covered with shiny shimmering glitters. Hehe, my first shirt with glitters.
I also created a new list on the right hand side of this blog. Its the "Latest LSS" list and it links to the song so you can have the chance to listen to it at radioblogclub.com.
While scouting for a fast and heavy music for our video project, I stumbled upon this awesome exhibition between Sully Erna and Shannon Larkin of Godsmack. Man, even if you are not a fan, you gotta respect their skills:
